Dan joined the Planning Alternatives team in 2009 with an extensive background in the automotive industry. Utilizing his knowledge and experience from nearly 30 years in the automotive industry, Dan analyzes and provides advice on the full range of business issues.
Dan holds a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Engineering from Penn State and a Masters of Business Administration from Oakland University. He regularly speaks to graduate and undergraduate students at Oakland University on topics such as corporate strategy, international business, and personal financial responsibility.
Describe the longest road trip you’ve been on:
It was 1970. My family traveled from western Pennsylvania out to California via the southwest route, and returned via the northern route. The entire trip took four weeks and about 6000 miles.
What brings you joy?
1. Seeing my kids succeed in life
2. Observing long-term goals become a reality
3. Helping people succeed, especially developing and advising young adults.
If you could invite any three people to a dinner party, whom would you invite?
I’d invite Thomas Jefferson, Martin Luther King, and Albert Einstein.
